WHO
Living Etch was founded by Ophelia Tham in 2018 with the unconditional love and encouragement from her husband and then 18 month old daughter. Before starting Living Etch, Ophelia ran her own architectural company specialising in residential projects. Today, she still practices as a registered Architect where she specialises in the residential sector, with a particular focus on terraces and heritage styled home renovations and residential town house / apartment new builds (Sydney Inner West and Melbourne Inner East).
Her inspiration to design came from her mother who made original and customised décor gifts and jewelleries for family and friends during her childhood. Having been raised in a creative household, she pursued a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Master of Architecture, both from the University of Technology, Sydney. Ophelia is an innovative Architect who not only consider the structural disciplines of a building, but also create ways that can accentuate and articulate the qualities of a building. Combining her architectural experience and passion for design, Ophelia created Living Etch, a company that specialises in bespoke décor, keepsake gifts, wearables and custom designs to compliment any occasions. |

Living Etch specialises in designing and creating unique home decor, keepsake gifts and wearables just for you. We focus on creating products that best reflects you, your home, and your lifestyle.
Our range includes personalised plaques, books, wall decals, event styling and decorative homewares | accessories. In addition to our standard range, we offer bespoke personalised designs and items no matter the brief and size. We have done paper wedding invites through to badges and cafe signs / menu boards. Working from our home studio in Melbourne, we love experimenting with different materials to create unique designs. From concept initiation, designing, manufacturing, and marketing, we are big believers in locally-owned, locally-designed, and locally-made. We pride ourselves on producing high quality products that are modern and sleek yet have highly articulated details. We ride with the waves of current technology and trends to create innovative and unique pieces for everyone to enjoy. |
WHERE
Our store is online and our studio is at our home in Surrey Hills, Melbourne. We also have a pop up studio in the Hills Area, Sydney.
